Dr. Thornton (Airway Management's founder) developed and patented an early version of TAP PAP in 1998. He discovered that many severe and otherwise non-compliant CPAP patients benefitted from this approach. During the process he learned that CPAP masks were more stable and less prone to air leaks when anchored to the upper teeth. Today we bring you the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask in a refined form of the early invention that is easy to fit and very comfortable.

The TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask eliminates all of the common problems associated with traditional CPAP masks, which often lead to the discontinuance of therapy. These problems are instability, leak, pressure drop and needless annoying marks on the nose and face. Since it is anchored to the upper teeth with a special ThermAcryl™ mouthpiece TAP PAP is very stable, will not move or leak and does not require headgear. Headgear is included for those patients who prefer it.

Simply put, the seal provided by TAP PAP is unequalled by any mask on the market today.

The streamlined design of TAP PAP increases patient comfort by reducing their work of breathing. A larger bore inlet tube and the lack of an elbow connection give TAP PAP the lowest pressure drop of all nasal pillow masks.

The TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask performs so well that Airway Management offers a Compliance Guarantee Program that is the most comprehensive mask guarantee program in the industry.

For CPAP naïve patients we stand by TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask through the initial 90 day period as set forth by Medicare in 2008. If the patient is not compliant in accordance with the Medicare Regulations for billing beyond month three, we will replace the mask to the suppliers inventory. For all CPAP patients we offer a 30 day customer satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason the patient does not like the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask during the first 30 days of use we will replace the mask to the suppliers inventory.
